Overnight Cruise 2024   iCal entry for this event

This year's Overnight Cruise will be a three day event commencing Friday 16 August.

Booking is open for this year’s Overnight Cruise to Corf camp in Newtown Creek, Isle of Wight.  Again we are lucky to have a supporting van available, with driver and crew, to transport heavy items to the site and fetch the groceries.

The price includes the camping fee as well as a share of the van ferry and fuel costs.  There will be a food kitty for the Saturday evening meal, lunch and breakfasts.  Included in the kitty will be soft drinks.  If you have a requirement for any other type of drinks you are welcome to bring your own.  Friday evening traditionally involves a group meal of take-away Fish and Chips.

To take part you need to have booked and paid for the event via Web Collect.  The payments will be held, by the club, until Wednesday 14th August when a decision whether to go ahead will be made.

This is a unique opportunity to experience one of the most beautiful locations on the island.  Seafarers SC is privileged to be one of very few organisations permitted to use this campsite.  When the tide is in, it is an ideal location to try out, or hone, your skills with a stand up paddle board or a pump up kayak. It is a short country walk to the New Inn in Shalfleet. There is a more adventurous walk to Yarmouth. This destination has proved to be a big hit with Seafarers in the past.
