Welcome to Solihull and Small Heath Athletic Club

Solihull and Small Heath AC is run entirely by volunteers at our headquarters, Norman Green Athletics Track, which is situated by Tudor Grange Leisure Centre, Blossomfield Road, Solihull and which has facilities for virtually all athletic disciplines.

The club is run by enthusiasts who will try their best to cater for men, women, boys and girls of all ages within amateur athletics. The club looks after all abilities and ages, from the age of 9 upwards, with opportunities for both youngsters thinking about getting into the sport of athletics for the first time as well as experienced athletes hoping to continue their athletic careers. The club conforms to UKA Codes of Conduct for Athletes, Coaches, Officials, Parents and Team Managers.

During the application process you will be asked to confirm that you (and any u18 Athletes you are applying on behalf of) have read and agree to abide by the relevant code(s) of conduct.

Membership

If this is your first time using WebCollect, you will need to Sign Up first (See top RH corner of Page), regardless of whether you were previously a SSHAC member.

If you are a parent, please sign up as yourself then after adding your child's/children's details to your family group add the appropriate child subscription allocated to the specific child to your basket. Following this proceed to checkout where you will be directed to another site to set up the relevant payment

 

SSHAC offers the following two main membership options for athletes:-

1. Junior  / Senior Track User membership

All junior athletes (under 18’s) will be required to have a Track User membership, which includes access to the track when coached and the club membership fee.

This allows free entry for SSHAC athletes to Tudor Grange athletics track during club times - Monday(when offered), Tuesday, Wednesday(hurdles only) and Thursday evenings from 18:30 – 20:00, and free entry for those training in the sports hall on Monday evenings (when offered). During the return to training post lockdown some session times with certain coaches may vary, you will be advised by the coach if this is the case.

 

 2. Student Track user / Senior Non-Track User membership

Intended for Students who are studying away from home during term times and Seniors not wishing to train on the track during club sessions.

Includes the England Athletics affiliation fee and the club membership fee.

Any member wishing to use the track outside of club sessions must pay the Everyone Active track fee at the reception desk in the usual way.

Other subscriptions such as Second Claim must be agreed by the club before applying.
