Following the success of previous years, St Mary's Loch Sailing Club is offering a free-of-charge discover sailing event providing opportunities to anyone to get out on the water.

Supported by the RYA, the beautiful St Mary's Loch is one of the many UK venues hosting a "Discover Sailing" event, perfect if you or your kids want to experience the feeling of being on the water. On Saturday 4th June we will be offering taster sessions in dinghies as well kayaks/canoes with experienced sailors and instructors on hand to provide you with a safe and fun introduction, whether it is your first time or a return to sailing.

There is no better time for your first active adventure afloat, or for those who want to get their sea legs back, with our "Discover Sailing" event this May. All are welcome! 

Hot drinks will be provided free-of-charge, snacks will be available to purchase, or you are welcome to bring your own. 

Pre-booking is essential. Those turning up on the day will not be able to take part in water-based activities as safety on the water is our first priority. 

Arrival time: 10:00  The event will finish no later than 17:00

Essential kit to bring on the day:

Warm clothing

Change of clothing 

Waterproof or spray jacket 

Buoyancy aid (if you have one, spares will be available on the day), must be worn at all times on the water
