Laser (UKLA) and Streaker Super Grand Prix Open Meeting
The Club is delighted to host the Laser (ILCA) Super Grant Prix and Streaker event on Sat 29 May and Sun 30 May. This is a fun weekend event, consisting of top quality coaching on Sat 29 May (please book separately and before 26 May), evening (socially distanced) social and competitive racing. Developed to fill the gap identified by Laser and Streaker members as part of the regular survey programme.
Primarily aimed at club sailors, but not exclusively so, valuing diversity in the fleet, encouraging all levels of experiences and rigs to come together to celebrate everything that is the Laser and Streaker, with the emphasis on fun. Helping to grow and sustain a healthy Laser and Streaker club base across the regions, building confidence to take an active part, whilst helping sailors develop skills and ability to get the most out of Laser and Streaker sailing.
To assist with COVID planning, pre-entry for race training and open meeting is required by no later than Wed 26 May 2021

Time: Briefing 11.00, first gun 11.55 - upto 4 races back-to-back
Entrance fee £15 adult (plus £1 contribution to Traveller Circuit), £10 youth (under 18) (plus £1 contribution to Traveller Circuit).
The club entrance is beyond "Tibbie Shiels Inn". Please drive slowly and leave the vehicle gate as you find it. Please keep to the 5mph speed limit through the sailing club grounds - slow on the road - fast on the water!
