Towcestrians Wine Club 2024 Tour to Loire Valley France
This year we are going to the home of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc the Loire Valley, France, and will be based in Saumur.
As we are not travelling on mass we have decided that all should be in Saumur on the evening of Wednesday 11th September 2024 so that we have flexibility on the starting time for our first winery visit on Thursday.
At present we have reserved 9 double and twin rooms at the Hôtel Mercure Bords de Loire Saumur for 11th, 12th, 13 and 14th September.
Winery visits have still to be confirmed but the two potential vineyards below are almost certain as Trelawney Wines currently sell their wares.

If the third winery is closer to Saumur then we may only require coach hire for two rather than three days.
To cover the costs of the visits, lunches and coach hire we will require everyone to pay a deposit of £200 which is the same as last year. Please pay by Webcollect, but by card rather than direct debit as the processing is somewhat tortuous.
