RYA Youth Sailing Scheme Stage 1
A two day sailing course aimed at total beginners aged 8-16, developing sailing skills, promoting life-skills (independence, confidence, communication skills, problem-solving, teamwork), and all whilst having fun on and off the water.,
The course progresses on a step by step basis developing practical skills throughout, resulting in sailing competency.
Attendance on both days is required to meet the minimum qualification criteria.
Course includes boat hire, equipment, instructors, course materials and certification.
