This will be our first 'seamanship' evening of the year, and an opportunity to practice all the essential knots you  need to stay safe and secure when afloat.  With so much experience in the club we're delighted that three of our seasoned members who've been tying knots for years have volunteered to come along and teach. 

 

You'll learn your Bowline and your Reef knot. And maybe your Clove Hitch from your Round Turn and Two Half Hitches. 

 

This will be a fun evening for newer members, but we'd be delighted if long-standing members came along too to pass on knowledge and join in the fun.

 

We will be serving a ploughmans between 6 and around 7, and of course the bar will be open. 

 

There is no need to eat to participate, but please book if you fancy coming along to give us an idea on numbers
