Martin Davies and Alison Mayor of Southsea Sub-Aqua Club have led numerous wreck investigation projects many of which have a connection to the WW2 Allied invasion of Normandy. This talk is about just one of the 7,000 ships and craft that was lost during Operation Neptune. The Southsea Sub-Aqua Club award winning project to investigate an unidentified wreck in the approaches to Portsmouth revealed a tragic story that had been remained untold for nearly 70 years.
