TVRC Big Summer Camp – Parwood Equestrian Centre (20–23 August)
Three-night summer camp at Parwood Equestrian Centre, offering high-quality coaching, excellent facilities, and a sociable, fully catered weekend for both horses and riders.
Dates:
Thursday 20th – Sunday 23rd August
Thursday afternoon arrival and settling-in.
Training programme:
Friday: Two × one-hour lessons
Saturday: One × 1.5-hour session (choice of cross-country or 1 hour flatwork or 1 hour show jumping)
Sunday: One × one-hour lesson
All jumping is optional. Non-jumpers and riders wishing to focus on flatwork or confidence-building are very welcome.

What’s included:
Three nights stabling (two bales of shavings per stable)
All coaching sessions
Full use of Parwood’s facilities
Fully catered throughout the camp (all meals provided; takeaway lunch on Sunday)
Optional extras may include electric hook-ups for lorries/caravans and a human masseuse (details to be confirmed).
Riders to bring their own hay.

£415 per person
Payment schedule:
£105 deposit (payable on booking)

Eligibility & requirements:
All riders must be current members of Thames Valley Riding Club and have completed at least half of their required volunteering hours prior to attending camp.
All attendees must comply with venue rules and the BRC Handbook, including the Code of Conduct. Riders choosing to withdraw from a session must inform the instructor and leave the arena or cross-country course immediately.
Cancellation & withdrawal policy:
Deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellation after payment due dates will result in a refund less the deposit only if the space is filled and costs are recovered. If the space is not filled, TVRC may issue a partial refund at the Committee’s discretion.
Exceptions may be made with a valid doctor’s or veterinary note. Refunds are based solely on recoverable costs. Payment processing fees are non-refundable.
Late payment policy:
Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in forfeiture of the deposit and release of the space. Partial refunds may be considered if the place is reallocated and costs recovered.
