Membership

We are small enough to be friendly and welcoming. Our members are always willing to help with advice and tips, if asked.

Racing is competitive, but not ruthless. The lake is a constant challenge. It is also spring fed so clean and warmer than a reservoir!!

We are not all racers. Some of our members are very happy to cruise and admire the scenery and wildlife (we are right next to a nature reserve).

Club members are allowed to sail Aztec boats or occasionally use their paddleboards as long as they are not required for Aztec activities.

Please note, our sailors must have at least RYA Adult Level 2 or Junior Stage 3.

All owners of boats sailed or stored at Upton Warren must have boat insurance which includes Third Party Accident cover to the value of £3,000,000.
