Sea kayaking the Great Glen Canoe Trail 3rd/6th September 2026
The Great Glen Way is a classic paddlesport trail stretching across the Scottish Highlands from Fort William to Inverness. Linking Loch Linnhe to the North Sea via the Beauly Firth, the Great Glen Way is 117km, 60 miles long. It combines a series of waterways from the Caledonian Canal to Loch Lochy, Loch Oich, Loch Ness and Loch Dochfour.
We will wild camp along the route over 3 days and 2 nights starting on Thursday the 3rd and finishing the 5th Saturday in Inverness paddling sea kayaks 60 miles through the highlands and wild camping along the route.
Own boat and equipment can be used for this trip.
Club boat and equipment available for use.
Sea kayak must be taken to event by participants.
Participants must have been on open water/ moving water(moderate) grade 2 water for this trip.
