Introduction to whitewater kayaking. 29-08-2026
For club members looking to advance from the sheltered water environment and move to the moderate water, white water kayaking on grade 1/2 rivers.
The day session will be held at Prudhoe riverside park and will be from 930 till 3pm with a lunch break.
The session will look at-
kit and equipment
river reading
paddle skills
safety and rescue
Kayaks/paddles and paddle kit can be signed out from the club store for the event.
*this is likely to be a wet session in the afternoon*
