Welcome to Weir Wood Sailing Club
Weir Wood Sailing Club boasts probably the best and most beautiful sailing waters in the South East, covering 280 acres and stretching for about 1.5 miles.
We are a registered RYA Training Centre running a full complement of sailing courses from beginners to advanced, for children through to adults, 7 to 70’s and above. Details of all our courses and the dates they are due to run can be found on this website.
We have social sailing and cruising groups and we run class and handicap racing all year around on Saturdays and Sundays, and on Wednesday evenings during the summer.
The club has professional caterers at the weekends throughout the year offering a selection of reasonably priced hot and cold food.
Membership
Membership gives access to all the club's facilities, training and social events. You can keep your dinghy at the club in one of our large boat parks. You can sail at the week-end, on Public Holidays and Wednesday evenings during May to August with a support boat patrolling for your safety. Members can also sail at any other time during the week though there is no support boat. Mid-week access to the changing rooms is available on payment of a one-off £30 key deposit.
