2025 WORCESTERSHIRE YOUTH REGATTA
The 2025 Worcestershire Youth Regatta will take place for the first time this year, at Aztec Upton Warren (B61 7ER) on Saturday 18th October.
The aim of the day is to bring together young sailors in Worcestershire to train and race in a safe and fun environment for a day of coaching, racing and fun.
The briefing will be at 10am, followed by a morning of race training, then an afternoon of at least three short races and a prizegiving. We request that sailors are at least of RYA Stage 3 ability, but the intention will be to include a rookie fleet who will receive coaching throughout the day including in the races, to support their development.
The cost is £10 for the day of coaching and racing is £10 per person; if you would like to sail a double handed dinghy, both helm and crew are required to make a booking.
Sailors can bring their own dinghy, or with prior notice we can arrange the hire of a pico, topper or Bahia for £5. Sailors should be changed ready to sail and have their boat rigged by the 10am briefing.
The 2025 WYSA Code of Conduct is attached to this event. Sailors and parents are required to read this document and confirm your agreement to the Code of Conduct on the booking form.
