AVCC - Saturday 17th October 2026 Pool Session
Primarily for this year's beginners / improvers, this is an ideal opportunity to practice skills such as capsizing, bracing and a variety of rescues in a warm indoor environment.
Meet at the club between 14:00 and 14:15 to clean and collect equipment and boats, or by 15:00 at Flamingo Pool, Axminster, ready for 15:15 start on the water.
Suggest swim suit / shorts and rash vest plus clean water shoes. Buoyancy aid and Helmet must be worn. Swim goggles and nose clip optional!
If you bring your own boat and equipment it MUST BE CLEAN so as not to leave debris or contaminate the pool.
If you need a club boat you must go to the CLUB and select it and any kit (including buoyancy aid, helmet and paddle) and ensure it is clean.
If you are able to help with boat transport please let the leaders know beforehand.
Juniors to be accompanied by a parent or guardian please.
