Outdoors Session - Meet at the Clubhouse
Hi All - its looking like we will be able to run our first outdoors session of the year. Location will be determined once we know who is booked up and we are sure what the conditions will be like. It is highly likely to be the river Wansbeck, but could also be Newbiggin if conditions allow.
This session is open to all who are confident with their capsize drill, if you are unsure of suitability, please reach out on the members Whats App page.
Its still forecast to be reasonably cold, so wear a wetsuit and cag if you have one, or lycra type trousers and a thin jumper and you can borrow a cag from the club. Bring a towel, and spare pair of clothes and ideally a hot drink, or money to purchase one at the cafe.
Ideally you'd be able to carry you own boat on the roof of your car to the paddling location, but if you cant, one of the coaches might be able to help out. Please ask on the Whats App group before booking if you cant so we can make sure we have enough space on people cars.
Meet at the clubhouse at 9:30 on Sunday. Keep an eye out on the Whats App group for updates.
