Membership categories are:

• Sailing : Full Family (Family Membership.** Sailing Rights and use of all club activities including paddle boarding and radio sailing for all family members.)
• Sailing : Junior Family (Family Membership.* Only the children aged 7 to 18 years have Sailing Rights.)
• Sailing : Young Adult (Young single people over 18 years and less than 25 years at 1 Jan of the membership year with Sailing Rights.)
• Radio Sailing/ Model Yachting (Family Membership.* Rights to sail model yachts at the agreed times as shown in the programme. Must be a member of MYA to provide insurance.)
• Paddle boarding (Family Membership.* Rights to use a paddle board at specific times and conditions.) 
• Social (Family Membership.* Social membership with No Sailing Rights.)
• Groups (e.g. Schools, other Sporting Clubs)

*Family Membership means a single person or married couple or partners and their children up to the age of 18 years inclusive at 1 Jan of the membership year.

**However, for Sailing Full Family only, this means a single person or married couple or partners and their children and grandchildren up to 18 years inclusive or up to 23 years inclusive for full-time students at 1 Jan of the membership year.

Full members are required to perform four half day duties and two Winter working parties per year. These are not in any way onerous and will be based on your experience and ability. Duties include Officer of the Day (OOD) and Assistants (AOD) to run the racing, Patrol Boat helm or crew and serving tea/coffee in the kitchen. Winter working parties (WWP) carry out maintenance to keep the club in working order. All members are encouraged to do at least 2 WWP.

When completing your membership form in the next section you will have various options of membership categories.

You will find annual membership fees which vary for different membership categories and a fee for each boat owned. 

For new members only there is a one off joining fee (except for Social, Model Yachting and Paddle Board memberships). [Note it has been agreed to suspend the Joining Fee for all new members until further notice.]
