MARTELLO LAKES, HYTHE: Racing/Sailing round a course 10am to 1pm (minimum youth Stage 3 or Adult Level 1 attained, must be enrolled)
Normally at MARTELLO LAKES, HYTHE
Hire a boat for £12 and race or sail round a course on Sunday mornings together with other young people as well as older and more experienced sailors. Your sailing skills will be honed, and you'll have a lot of fun sailing. The sailing/race officer in charge on the day will allocate a boat to you in discussion with you.
The session cost is still £12 even if you use your own boat as we need to cover insurance and safety boat cover costs.
Sailors must be enrolled via membermojo.co.uk/cinqueports and must already have passed their
youth RYA Stage 3, or adult/teen RYA Level 1 course
The session is open to adults, youth and kids provided they have met the above requirements.
Sailing may be cancelled due to poor weather, so please keep an eye on the weather forecast and also on the facebook page Martello Lakes Sailing even on the day. Shorebased training may be offered instead if on arrival the weather necessitates on water cancellation.
Safety boat cover will be provided by the sailing organisers

NOTE: IF NO BOOKINGS HAVE BEEN MADE FOR A PARTICULAR SUNDAY, IT MAY NOT BE POSSIBLE TO ARRANGE LAST MINUTE SAFETYBOAT COVER FOR LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS. Please book on as soon as possible before the Sunday in question, and ideally by the Wednesday/Thursday before the Sunday in question!! You can tell if others have booked already by looking at the tally of bookings still available.

No youth racing/sailing will be offered on Remembrance Sunday, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Mother's Day or Easter.
