In-person intermediate class taught by Beth at Kelsey Kerridge Fitness Studio, Wednesday 2000-2130 

For those who generally understand the structure and basic vocabulary of a typical ballet class. This class is taken at a faster pace, designed to improve your ballet knowledge, technique, musicality and expressiveness. 


Optional Pointe 1: 2130-2200

For those who are new to pointe, this class will focus on developing the strength necessary for pointe work.

Important: If you have never studied pointe work before, please attend this class in your flat shoes before purchasing pointe shoes. For your health and safety, it is necessary for the teacher to assess your readiness for pointe work.


The capacity of the classes will be 20.  Masks will not be required during the class, but in the common areas of buildings please follow any venue policies.  If you are not comfortable with an in-person class you may prefer to attend online, or to go to the outdoor class on Thursdays.

Information for NHS Test and Trace purposes will be requested at the end of the booking process.


  1. Do not attend class if you are awaiting a coronavirus test, you are currently required to self-isolate for any reason, or suspect you may have coronavirus symptoms, including but not limited to:
    1. High temperature
    2. A new continuous cough
    3. A loss of, or change to, your sense of taste or smell
  2. If you develop symptoms or are confirmed Covid positive after attending a class, please report the case to ballet@cusu.cam.ac.uk so that we can take appropriate action. Your identity will remain anonymous and no personal details will be released to any club members.
  3. Stay informed on current UK guidelines by visiting: https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus
  4. Report accurate and up-to-date contact information on class sign-up forms. This will be crucial to conducting track and trace measures if necessary.
  5. Follow all CUBC Covid guidelines and teacher instructions. You may be asked to leave if you are not adhering to the CUBC Covid guidelines
  6. Arrive to class in your dance attire, as changing facilities may not be available.
  7. Bring a water bottle with you to class 
  8. If you are a high-risk or vulnerable population, or you are in contact with someone who is, consider attending one of our virtual or outdoor classes rather than our in-person classes.
  9. Only attend classes which you have pre-booked using the ticketing system.
  10. For the safety of all our students and teachers, please adhere to government guidelines regarding Covid in your daily life, as well as during our classes.
