Make a bookworm for World Book Day - Children's workshop
Did you know that a "wyrm" used to be a word for a dragon? As a World Book Day special, we will be making our own "bookworms," and looking at some examples of worms in literature!
10.30 - 12 noon in the Reading Room.
Children's workshop* / free and open to all / 8 places per session
Funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund
*Parents/guardians of children under the age of 11 must remain on site during workshops/events, however you do not have to stay in the room where workshops are taking place. Parents/guardians are free to make use of our wonderful tranquil spaces, enjoy free wifi, read newspapers/magazines and make yourself tea or coffee Courtenay Room.
Covid info - we ask everyone (unless exempt) to wear masks in the building, workshops are well spaced and ventilated.
