Grafham Goslings

Grafham Goslings is an RYA OnBoard session, which are aimed at younger club members aged 8 and upwards with no experience and for those sailors who are working towards their RYA Stage 1 & 2 course. These sessions are run by fully qualified instructors.
Team Grafham Goslings provides an opportunity to develop the confidence and skills required before joining an RYA Stage 1 and 2 course which is the entry level to join the more experienced sailors in the Team Grafham Advanced racing group.
These sessions are a great way to begin your sailing and build confidence as well as having lots of fun and meeting other young sailors in the club at a similar sailing skill level.
Younger club members are encouraged to bring a friend to sail with, they can join in one session prior to being asked to purchase membership. Please make sure they are signed in prior to arrival.
Sailors will need their own buoyancy aids.
Depending on the participants' age and size as well the weather conditions, boast may be shared with another sailor and sailed two up in Picos.
Sessions will be run on 4 participants to 1 Instructor ratio.
Please note that you must book before midnight on the Thursday prior to the session.
Summer Camp for Goslings
A regular feature in our summer programme and this year available for Goslings to join in.
Please note that all participants must be a regular participant of Goslings. If unsure then please contact the office.
- During the afternoon our team, will provide opportunities to dinghy sail and windsurf and SUP. This is a fun week – no RYA certificates but expeditions, games etc.
- From 16:30 onwards each evening we hand over to parents to supervise their children, with free camping allowed on site - please pre-book this this on the website. If parents are available to help during the day as well, that would be great!
- You can pre-order meals Packed Lunches - please speak to Lisa in the Cafe or telephone 07738 401190 by 27th July 2026.
- All participants must have a parent or person acting in loco parentis overnight – minimum age 18.
Summer Camp is four afternoons of on water fun activities. Off the Water we enjoy camping with evening games and entertainment with a fun and enjoyable atmosphere!
