High Five from Highgate Harriers: Get fit with the training drills of athletes and runners
New sesssions for young athletes from 8 to 14
High Five is a weekly one-hour fitness class at Parliament Hill Athletics Track led by a qualified athletics coach. We combine training drills used by athletes from five event groups to improve all-round fitness.
Our training drills are easy to master, and you don’t need any prior experience in athletics. Everyone in the class exercises at their own pace with supervision and encouragement.
Whether you are a complete beginner to sport and just want to get fit and have fun, or if you want to get ready to participate in training for athletics competition, this class is for you.
Sprints – for high intensity, explosive power
Jumps – for coordination and agility
Middle Distance – for strength and stamina
Throws – for strength and conditioning
Endurance – for stamina
The price is for a series of the remaining sessions. (Satruday 6/12, 13/12, 20/12 or Tuesday 9/12, 16/12)
