Venturer Camp 2026
Venturer Camp (V-Camp) is a national event for Venturers from across the UK to camp together, to take part in activities that are both fun and thought provoking, and to form and reinforce friendships that can last a life time. V-Camp happens just once every three years and this year is a V-Camp year!
The Camp will take place between the 1st – 8th of August 2026 at Woodcraft Folk’s very own Biblins Youth Campsite based in the Wye Valley. The 18 acre site hugs the river and is surrounded by stunning ancient woodlands, the perfect place to get close to nature and take part in engaging activities.
There will be an exciting programme on offer of workshops, activities and live music throughout the week. After lots of discussion between 2024-25 Venturer Committee, the theme chosen was Storytelling!
At least two leaders from Hounslow and Twickenham District will be accompanying our delegation though all adult and young adult members over the age of 16 are very welcome to attend as volunteers.
The cost for Venturers (age 13 - 15) is a £40 booking fee plus £20 per night, the cost for volunteers (age 16+) is a £20 booking fee plus £15 per night. Tents will be provided and a personal packing list circulated nearer the time. We will not be providing group transport but we strongly encourage lift sharing between families.
Booking closes on the 29th May though it would really help our planning if you let me know whether or not your Venturer will be joining the camp by the 29th March.
