This two-day course is designed for those who want to develop the skills needed to support sailing clubs, racing fleets, and training centres from the water. You’ll learn how to recover various craft, and work in a range of conditions — ( a valuable skill for instructors, coaches, club volunteers and safety boat crew).

The RYA Safety Boat course is ideal for anyone involved in safety or rescue roles on the water. During this course, you’ll work on advanced boat handling, towing techniques, physical recovery of capsized dinghies and theory sessions on the recovery of other water craft. It is a highly valued course within the RYA and the boating community.
