Start Sailing YSS 1
This is an RYA Youth Sailing Scheme Stage 1 course Suitable for ages 8 to 16 with no previous sailing experience taking place over two days.
A fantastic introduction to sailing you will have great fun learning the basics of sailing, parts of the boat and how to launch, recover and steer. After completing Stage 1, you will understand the basic principles of sailing in order to move on to Stage 2. No prior knowledge or experience of sailing is needed to take up this course.

- Wet-suit, Buoyancy Aid, Helmet
- Youth Sailing Scheme Log Book
What you need to bring
- Swimwear, Towel, Drinks, Sun-cream, weather appropriate clothing
- Spare pair of shoes to wear in the water with closed toes
- Lunch and Snacks
- Water Bottle.

- Start Time 9:30
- Finish time 4:30
