Slalom kids club!
Available to all but aimed at u14's.
The 6 week introduction to Slalom course will run from the 3rd of September to the 8th of October, this is aimed at new paddlers. Please select the £45 ticket and the 3rd of September date. This course will be progressive and look to cover basic techniques following the Paddle UK Slalom start progress awards. By the end we hope to introduce the group to moving water as having a go down the Legacy course!
If you are a regular paddle with us, please book on as normal.

*If you have just stumbled onto us and never Kayaked before or been to any of our taster sessions your first two lessons are free! please email and ask for a consent form

After your first 3 sessions you must become a club member. A junior flat water membership starts at just £5. Ask Pam at club reception for more details.
Get a taste of Canoe Slalom and find out if you want to be involved in more regular Kayak training and racing. Meet our experienced coaches boasting plenty of international success and our friendly volunteer's. Teaching you the basics and taking you through the Paddle UK progress awards. £10 fee includes equipment use and coaching.
No equipment required, some swimming shorts/bottoms or leggings, T-shirt/rash vest, paddling shoes and a thin windproof shell would be most useful. Please arrive with enough time to get kitted up. Cash is not accepted, please email if you are struggling with the payment system.
Meeting point- Enter venue via main entrance, follow road around to the last car park by the main building, Sign in at Club reception which will either be the desk to the right as you enter the centre or a desk on the grass where Pam our club membership officer and receptionist will greet you, toilets and changing rooms are behind the centre reception, meet on the grass opposite reception by the lake ready for the session.
Sessions will largely consist of games, mixed skills, techniques, learning gate basics and introducing the paddlers to white water/flow.
