French Alps River Trip 2025
We are running a trip to the French Alps from 7th - 14th June 2025. We fly out to France and stay in a chalet in the town of Serre Chevalier near Briancon, right in the centre of some of the finest alpine whitewater rivers – Guile, Durance, Claree and Ubaye. All of the kayaking equipment and personal luggage is driven out by van and we hire a minibus or cars in France to provide transport to the rivers and airport transfers. The trip will include some whitewater safety training and various grades and rivers including the slalom courses at L’Argentiere and St Clemens, the Upper Durance above Briancon, Sunshine Run on the Lower Durance including the Rabioux Wave (as pictured above) and the Upper Ubaye and Middle to Lower Claree.
The cost for this trip is £570 for PCC members and £590 for non-PCC members including road transport in France, vehicle hire, accommodation and catering*. The trip is open to anyone over 16 (under 16 must be accompanied by one of their parents) – please note the trip is in term time. All under 18's must be club members.
