Gareloch One Design Class - Series and Events Dates 2020

Series races are restricted to entrants who are members of the RNCYC or members of other Yacht Clubs who pay the appropriate fee surcharge.

Evening Races

Tuesdays:            July 28^th                                

                            August 4^th, 11^th, 18^th, 25^th

ANCIENT MARINER Series (GAM)

Tuesdays:            Sept 1^st,8^th, 15^th, 22^nd (light permitting)

SUNDAY RACING

ARMSTRONG TROPHY

Sundays:             July   26th 

                            Aug   2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th

                           Sept   6th, 13th, 20th, 27th 

Discards- as noted in the Sailing Instructions (Section 11.3)

Please note this is INFORMAL RACING with the emphasis on recreation, health & wellbeing,The Scottish Government advice is:

'Competitions should only be undertaken locally and informally at your own club where household, physical distancing and hygiene measures are in place'

If the Covid-19 advice changes it may be necessary to cancel the rest of the sailing calendar, but we intend to run the full series.

Fees charged will go to the cost of maintenance of the launch, marks, prize giving etc.
