Derwent River
We visit a small stretch of Grade 1 and 2 white water in Matlock, Derbyshire which is an ideal first or second trip for trainees. This is a day trip and can be used as part of the training for our 3 Star course or just as a practice session.
All paddlers should be at minimum 2 Star level. This is a natural river and has a nice selection of white water features to learn on.
We meet at 8.00am at the the Club and will be back around 7pm. Bring a packed lunch and some money for drinks and snacks on the motorway. The cost for the trip includes coaching, transport and equipment.
