The Sample Canoe Club has been tailored specifically for canoe clubs.

Using this template to create your trial organisation will provide you with a pre-made set of subscriptions and example events, together with tailored content.

Subscriptions

The Sample Club comes with 6 types of subscription:

• Individual adult membership: an annual subscription
• Family membership: a group subscription
• Student membership:  Reduced rate subscription
• Junior membership:  A junior subscription, which requires parents to provide their contact details
• Club BCU membership: 
• Boat storage:  This has a form attached to collect boat information, and allocate storage space

You can change or remove these, and add new ones to suit.

Events

The Sample Club has 6 event categories and various sample events set up:

• Pool sessions, multiple dates with/without boat hire
• Training sessions: Taster, improver and beginners sessions
• Assessment, BCU 2 Star Kayak assessment
• Day Trips:  Trip to Derwent River
• Multi day trips:  Trip to N Wales - a 3 step booking process, including accommodation and boat hire

These sample events have been designed to illustrate what is possible, and can easily be adapted.

Forms

Membership Form

The Sample Membership Form is an interactive form, including:

• Gender and age group
• Experience. Dropdown options of different levels
• BCU Membership and qualifications
• Coaching/Leadership qualifications
• Parental consent for Under 18s
• Declaration and consent

The information provided in this form, can then be used to identify particular groups of members, e.g. juniors, coaches

Course/Trip Form

The Sample Course/Trip Form is an interactive form, including:

• Medical conditions
• Emergency contact details
• Declaration

Boat Form

The Boat Form is attached to the boat storage subscription, and includes:

• Manufacturer
• Model
• Colour
• Boat storage space (viewable but not editable by the member)
• Declaration (risk and insurance)

Payment Methods

The sample organisations have all payment methods set up (with the checkout disabled so we don't actually take your money).  When you create a trial organisation, based on one of the templates, the trial will have cheques enabled to get you started.

Content

The sample organisation has content/wording that is generally relevant for a canoe club, ready for you to tailor to your particular organisation.
