Kya lives alone in the North Carolina marshes of the 1950s and 60s. When the popular high school quarterback promises to marry her, Kya hopes to finally receive the love she’s always lacked. But following a violent altercation, the quarterback turns up dead, and everyone suspects "The Marsh Girl
