Commodore's Challenge Lunch
This season's Commodore’s Challenge is scheduled for Sunday 6th August. As last year’s event proved so popular, Phil Warwick, the Commodore, thought he would organise another cruise and see if we can achieve the same level of participation. This year’s challenge is to achieve another first for the Club, a cruise to Portsmouth Harbour. Both Patrol Boats will accompany our flotilla. Phil has booked Hornet Services Sailing Club in Gosport for lunch (BBQ or cold buffet tbc). Hornet is collocated with the Joint Services Adventurous Sail Training Centre (JSASTC) close to HMS Alliance and the Submarine Museum.
This event is booking for the lunch only, which will go ahead even if the cruise is cancelled.
Those who do not wish to sail can still join us for lunch and, should the weather be poor, we can still all meet at Hornet and make the most of the food and the bar!
Special dietary requirements can usually be catered for.
As this is an 'external' event, please note the reduced price meals are for under 12s only (not the normal Cadet price).
