CPR Skills for Life / Defibrillator Training - 27 Oct 2026
The Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance team have kindly agreed to deliver training to Seafarers on Tuesday evening - 27 October, starting at 19.30. The club will be open from 19.00.
They will provide a short talk about the Air Ambulance organisation and it's new location at Southampton Airport,
Then there will be a demonstration by their CPR volunteers. Attendees will then split into small groups for everyone to have a go at CPR and using the club defibrillator device. They have allowed for 20 people to attend so they will bring 4 sets of CPR equipment and will aim to recruit 4 volunteers (i.e. 4 groups of 5 people)
Please - arrive at the club from 19.00 - the session will start at 19.30, and last for approximately 2 hours. The training is free.
