Junior - Learn to Sail Youth Stages 1 and 2 course
Our next JUNIORS Start Sailing course is scheduled to run over four consecutive Saturdays - September 19th and 26th, October 3rd and 10th 2026.
PRE-REQUISITES - All participants MUST be able to swim well in deep water and be physically able to move boats and equipment etc.
The minimum age we can accommodate for Juniors is 9 years and the maximum is 16 years, above which participants will join the adult course.
PLEASE NOTE - TO CONFIRM YOUR PLACE ON THE COURSE A £25 BANK TRANSFER DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF BOOKING. THE REMAINDER OF THE COURSE FEE (£155) IS DUE NO LATER THAN ONE WEEK BEFORE THE COURSE START DATE. PAYMENTS CAN BE MADE VIA BANK TRANSFER TO THE BELOW CLUB ACCOUNT:

All you need to bring with you for each day is a long wetsuit, wetsuit boots or soft soled shoes that can get wet, a towel, change of clothes, some water proofs for over your wetsuit for warmth and a packed lunch. Sometimes a pair of sailing gloves are useful also to protect your hands from the ropes or 'sheets'.
