Youth Sailing and Coaching Group 2024
Weir Wood Sailing Club has a long tradition of introducing children and young people to sailing. Our aim is to introduce children and young people to the sport of sailing in a safe, controlled but fun environment.
Weir Wood Sailing club is a members club, with organised youth activities for its members aged between 8 and 17 on Saturday afternoons from late April until late July and from September to the end of October.
Non members can take part in the the Beginners group and complete up to RYA Youth Stage 1 (typically 4 session) or if more experienced can register for up to 2 taster session with either Youth Sailing or Race Coaching. After which they must become members of WWSC to continue.
Members may use their own boats or hire a club boat in advance.
