Youths Learn to Sail Course
RYA Youths Learn to Sail Course Level 1 & 2 for children aged between 8 to 15 years old.
Dates: Monday 10th, Tuesday 11th, Wednesday 12th, Thursday 13th August 2026
You will be required to attend all dates to gain your qualification
This 4 day course starts at 9am prompt and finishes at 5pm. Please come to the club dressed ready to go out on the water.
Please bring with you your drinks bottle to keep hydrated, packed lunch and snacks for the day, there are no shops nearby.
Don't forget to bring any medication you might need and advise the Senior Instructor of any medical issues they should be aware of.
Wear clothes appropriate to the weather conditions and bring spare old clothes with you as you will get wet.
Wear old trainers or sailing boots and bring a light weight wet weather jacket/coat.
Don't forget to bring suntan lotion and a hat or cap.
If you wear glasses we suggest you wear your old ones and bring along a glasses retainer to avoid losing them at the bottom of the reservoir

NOTE: Courses will run providing there are enough people booked onto the course to make it viable.
Should we have to cancel the course you will receive a full refund.
If you decide not to take part in the course I am sorry but we do not offer refunds unless there are exceptional circumstances.
Parents/Guardians it is advisable not allow your child to bring expensive items to the club as Cransley Sailing Club cannot be responsible for any loss or damage of any such items.
