Welcome to Inverness Canoe Club
Inverness Canoe Club was formed in 1996 and now has over 400 members paddling at all levels - from beginners to the very experienced. We are active in most areas of recreational paddlesport - including sea, white water and open boating - and hope that you will find a place in the Club which suits your particular interests.
The Club organises regular trips throughout the year - on river, sea and loch. These vary from evening 'Park and Play' on our local river, the Ness, to wild camping trips on one of the many islands off the coast of Scotland. We have 'come and try' sessions, which should give all members of the family a chance to get wet! We arrange a variety of courses, aimed at paddlers at all levels. Using both our own volunteer coaches, as well as professionals, we aim to enable our members to develop their personal skills, as well as embark on the coaching and leadership pathway.
