Pool session - Intro to SUP (Stand up paddleboarding)
The pool session on 14th December will be a one-off introduction to stand up paddleboards. The cost will be £5, but there are a limited number of paddleboards, so they will need to be shared. We are offering up to 18 adult places (3 per board) and up to 16 children’s places (2 per board). There will be no formal coaching provided, but coaches will be on hand to provide tips. It is intended to be a session of discovery and fun.
Due to the risk of falling off the boards and banging your head on the poolside, paddlers will be required to wear a helmet (we will supply club helmets but feel free to bring your own) and getting on and off the boards at the poolside should be done kneeling down rather than standing up.
There will be no kayaks in the pool on this night.
