Yes, you can add new form fields at any time.
Required fields
If the new form field is a required field then the member will be presented with the form to complete the additional form field:
- the next time they go through checkout, in the case of the membership form
- the next time they renew their subscription, in the case of a subscription form
Non-required fields
If the new form field is a not a required field then the member will be presented with the form to complete the additional form field:
- the next time they renew their subscription, in the case of a subscription form
- in the case of a membership form, they will not be presented with their form again if they have already completed it. If you are adding a new field to a membership form, consider making it a required field to ensure that it is presented to existing members.
