WebCollect tries to be as unobtrusive as possible. We restrict the number of cookies to the absolute minimum. We don't run 3rd party software, such as Google Analytics, to track what your members are doing. We do that because we don't believe in the "Big Brother/Big Data" approach that many software companies take. Whilst it might be tempting to gather and store a wealth of data about what your members are up to, the feedback that we hear from our organisations is that their members, along with most people, don't want this.
So, for now, we don't have tracking in place to monitor and record every time a member opens an email, or clicks on a link. However, we do actively listen and respond to what our organisations want. So, if they tell us that this is wanted, we will review this approach.
