Lost the zero on the front of each phone number
Don't worry. This happens when you save a phone number without any spaces in it in Excel. Excel thinks it's a number, and strips the front zero off the phone number.
We know all about this problem, and have coded a solution during import to add the zeros back in. So if your spreadsheet is missing them, you don't need to manually fix them.
Can I have spaces in phone numbers?
Yes, these are fine. If you use the text messaging facility, WebCollect will strip out the spaces before sending.
How do I store international numbers?
If you are not using the text messaging facility, you can store them any way you like. If you are using text messaging, then you can use + or 00 to designate the number as international, plus the country code.
Note: For non-UK organisations, the text messaging facility is not yet available.
