Application Confirmation email

The application confirmation email is sent automatically when a member places an application order.  This happens when:

  • the organisation has configured the approval process option; and
  • a new member places an order for a subscription, or an event which is not an open event

Note: The member has not paid for the items in the application order - the application process stops short of allowing the member to put the payment through.   Click here for details on how the application process works, and what to do when a member places an application order.

Contents of the email

Header

The header of the email contains:

  • the logo uploaded for the organisation (or the default logo if none uploaded)
  • the organisation name (clickable to the organisation home page on WebCollect)
  • link to the member's account page for the organisation
  • small WebCollect logo

Confirmation

The email is addressed to

Dear [member first name, member last name]

Application Number: [number]

Application Date: [date]

Your application with [organisation name] for the items listed below has been submitted. You will receive an email when your application has been accepted.

Items

This section contains details of the items applied for, their amount, any tax, and the order total. It will also contain:

  • details of event or subscription forms that they have completed
  • a link to any event files (these will also be sent as an attachment)

Customised Content

You can insert some customised content, which will go here. Note: the content will be included in all application order confirmation emails, so we recommend that you don't make it specific to a particular set of members, or related to individual subscriptions or events.

Final section

This section appears on every email:

This section appears on every email:
